In the last few days I've really come to admire French women. To me they just seem to be so sophisticated (I can't believe I just spelled that word correctly) and have a certain elegance about them. Where did this come from? Well I just happened to pick up a copy of 'French Women Don't Get Fat' by Mireille Guiliano and it's really inspiring. Reading the book has made me what to emulate French women, to aspire to be like them. I want to sit for hours in a cafe sipping tea and eating fabulous food whilst reading a really good book. I want to travel to every major city and...I'll stop now.

You'll never guess what I'm watching right now. A David Bowie concert from the late seventies. Why? Nobody knows. I'm in one of my 'normal' crazy moods and its 2:30 in the morning. Hmm androgynous boys. Speaking of androgynous boys,'World behind my Wall music video. Bill Kaulitz is gkhhgajhuxetfveghsjfysfgchdjrrftsgavdrhyttsa. Okay I'm done. xP

Stay tuned folks. I have a mega icon post in the works. =D

Wow, it has been done! It's taken me almost a year to upload these! And you know what inspirated me to post them? Brownies! (I am so gonna eat 99% healthy after new years lol) I must admit I've been putting it off because I was nervous about people seeing them and thinking them crap. But looking at them now, they ain't bad looking for being a first batch of icons i've made. I mean I've made icons before, but let's pretend those never existed. So now that I've finally overcome laziness, I can now get back to making icons on a semi-regular basis. Work takes over my life. Anyway, if you haven't realised (shame on you), these are from the Prisoner of Azkaban movie. Hope you like. =)

Lately I've been so frustrated with my painfully slow internet connection! Which means that I haven't been able to upload the batch of icons that I've actually managed to finally complete. But looking at my icons now, they're really not the best effort I've could of done. I guess I've just been too lazy to make them somewhat decent. So I might go back and try to make them look more presentable if I can find the time. Also, I made a Merlin Header that I might possibly use for when I change the layout. I admit that the banner isn't that great and I know that it could be so much better but I am slightly happy with how it turned out. But I won't change the layout until it turns out exactly how I'd like it to look. I have to decide what colour theme what be best suited to the header and layout style. To test the layout, I've made another livejournal account to use as a testing journal. I no longer like how this journal looks so I hope to change it soon. Once I have better internet, I'll get started on it. Oh and I fixed the header to fit with the width of the content. It was a small thing but I was too lazy.

At the moment I'm reading The Eye of the World, the first book in an awesomeness epic fantasy series called The Wheel of Time. And what I'm so excited about is that they're going to make a movie adaptation of the series starting with the first book. Although I am somewhat weary about how they could possibly adapt a novel series of that magnitude into films. I mean the series is Twelve books in length which would simply be impossible to make them all into films considering it takes at least a couple of years to make one. It would be years and years until all twelve films to be completed in which the actors will age. As awesome as a film adpatation would be I just don't think it could be accomplished. A TV series what be a far more realised approach and has the possibility to be true to the novels. We'll see in due time how they manage to accomplish this. I have my fingers crossed and hope they don't ruin the epicness that is this series.

I've recently finished watching Merlin which is such an awesome show (well I'm being biased as I love anything set in Medieval times). I loves it! I'm into all that fantasy crap so of course I love it. Anyway, I'm thinking of doing a Merlin theme to eventually replace the current one. Which goes to show that I'm getting somewhat obsessed with the series. But I won't get started on that until I've finished working on my current icon batch. But I fear it won't be finished anytime soon or I could just leave it at how many I've already done which is about 50 but I was intially going for a hundred. Quality over Quantity right? =/

I promised myself that I'd contribute more to this journal but alas I haven't had the time. And I haven't been on the internet much this year since I moved to live with my sister. But at the moment I'm working on a massive Harry Potter icon colouring batch! Although some of the colouring works better on others. That's why it's taking so long for me to finish them. ^^'

So the next post will hopefully be up once the batch is complete which probably won't be for awhile. And [info]neondusk  you better be reading these posts otherwise I'm talking to a brick wall!!

Oh I also got around to submitting some of my graphics on deviantart. I've been a lurker on that site for years and finally had enough courage to upload my work. Although they're old and could do with some improvements but I'm way too lazy!

Still re-watching the first season of Heroes. It's been taking me a while because I've only been able to watch a few episodes once every days. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN A DAY!!!! *cries* I'll finish watching it eventually. I love Heroes so much and enjoying every minute of it. The first time I watched it, Sylar made it very difficult to watch. I don't know, he just pissed me off to no end! With killing off everyone and whatnot. Sick bastard! But since watching a few episodes of the third season (missed most of it since it aired, again; no time!), he seemed more human and after that I didn't mind him that much. So I can tolerate him now. See by watching something again, you just might like it the second (or third, fourth, fifth, etc) time round. Give it a chance!

A couple of weeks ago I bought the first season of Heroes. Man I absolutely love that show. It's definitely on of my favourite shows at the moment. It's just made of pure win! I haven't watched the first season since it aired, so I started watching it again a couple of nights ago. Only got up to the third episode. I missed the last few episodes of the second season because of the stupid bloody writer's strike last year. As a result that season is half of what is the standard length of a season. Yes it's pretty disappointing. Writer's strike, what an joke.

I love Heroes even more after I've found some fanfiction about it. Been reading alot of Elle/Claire fics as they're the only one's I've been able to find. I'm totally in love with Kristen Bell. She's an awesome actress and she portrays Elle in heroes. That's also one of the other reasons I love heroes so much. She's in it!!! But sadly her character was cut in the third season. Nooo....Elle come back! I love psychotic characters...and she plays it well. Because of this, I may start fangirling over her quite a bit. But I won't be able to help myself....

I had a Lord of the Rings movie marathon last night, or this morning I should say. Watched the first two movies starting from 10pm-3pm. I haven't seen the last film though. I don't know why I never got around to watching it. I'll have to eventually, or I'll never know how it'll end! It's also made me want to read the books. Because I want to know what the book version is like and also you get to read the parts that didn't make it into the movie. Very exciting indeed. I'll have to check out my local library for a copy of the first book. But I'm doubting they will have it, as it's a really small library. I'd buy the book if I had the money, but I bought already a book yesterday. So I'll buy it one day.

'I can't wait for you to shut me up...'

So much for having most of the week off. Instead of being at home relaxing, I've been out with friends mostly. Well, I suppose it is a good thing that I've been out and about more often, as I was starting to get somewhat anti-social. But I would of liked to be at home catching up some much missed anime episodes. Okay when I could have been watching anime; I was watching the second season of South of Nowhere instead. It's a pretty good show that a friend of mine got me into. Shame that the episodes are only twenty minutes long and the seasons twelve episodes in length. Short indeed.
